
Gerard Cromwell is a freelance journalist and award winning ghost writer from County Meath.
His first book, professional cyclist Nicolas Roche’s biography ‘Inside The Peloton’, won Sports Book of the Year at the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards in 2011 and was also shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year.
He was shortlisted for the Sports Columnist of the Year award at the National Newspapers of Ireland Awards in 2013 and his second book – TOSH: An amazing true story of life, death, danger and drama in the Garda Sub Aqua Unit, was published in May 2015.
