A former Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) with an Garda Síochána, Ciaran now delivers presentations, training and seminars on leadership, wellbeing, resilience and study skills across the corporate, community and educational sectors.
His 32-year career dealing with death, trauma and tragedy has given Ciaran a deep insight into the fragility of human existence and a firsthand knowledge of how suddenly and violently it can be taken away.
In October 2022, Ciaran presented ‘Life Lessons From Dealing With Death’ at TEDx Tralee, tracing his remarkable journey from an intense fear of mortality as a child to working in a profession which exposed him to it on a broad scale.
Ciaran ‘s first book will expand on these themes and is scheduled for publication in autumn 2024 with Gill Books.
