Brianna Parkins is an Australian/Irish journalist, broadcaster and writer. Her weekly column in the Irish Times topped the paper’s ‘Most Read’ list regularly. When she’s not oversharing with the nation in print, she can be heard on Newstalk and Today FM as a fill-in host and panel regular. Recently she was appointed as the Journal’s Fact Check journalist. FOr a few years she fannied about on television as a reporter and presenter on Virgin Media Television. She has been a full-time journalist for nearly a decade across three continents, with her bylines published in nearly every major Australian newspaper. Before she was headhunted to Ireland, she was a journalist at one of the ABC’s longest running and most respected current affairs programs.
